TABLE POTATOES

Kroeker Farms produces some of the finest-grown Red, Yellow, and Russet potatoes for the table market. The majority of our potatoes are washed, graded and packaged at Kimberly Wash Plant before reaching retailers. Certified organic potatoes are available to our customers in addition to our conventional produce.

Reds
We produce top quality reds that are bright and fresh starting with early market potatoes and continuing into a storage season that allows us to supply reds with outstanding flavour and colour 12 months of the year.

Yellows
We are long-term growers of premium quality Yukon Gold and other yellow fleshed potatoes. We are always working hard to give our customers the best selection of quality yellow potatoes.

Russets
Russet Norkotah is a great choice for your baking potato needs with its attractive appearance, good storability and uniform tuber size and shape.

Potato Highlight: Adora
One of the newest potatoes on the scene is the variety Adora owned by HZPC, a seed company based in the Netherlands. The smooth, buff to white skin gives it a gourmet appearance and the creamy to light yellow flesh has great texture that is excellent for baking, boiling and frying. Adora is the alternative for potato lovers on a diet since there are 30% fewer carbohydrates compared to a standard Russet baking potato. In the United States this same potato is being grown by the SunFresh of Florida Marketing Cooperative under the name SunLite. Despite the difference in names, everyone agrees it is a great looking and excellent tasting potato that will become a favorite soon after you try it.

Our table potatoes are sold through Peak of the Market, which is one of Canada's premier grower-owned vegetable suppliers. Peak of the Market is unique to vegetable growers in Manitoba and has been recognized for their excellent quality products since their start in 1943.
